Whenever we entertain, I always try to brainstorm some new or exciting things I can throw on my cheeseboard. I have a 3 foot cheese board that I’m absolutely obsessed with filling up for parties. I re-read that sentence and realize I sound like a cheese crazed lunatic but hey, MAYBE I AM. Judgers. Anyway, because this thing is such a whopper, its important to have some delicious standbys that help to fill the space in between the cheeses and meats that I put out –flavored popcorn, candied nuts, mini gherkin etc.
Buffalo ranch popcorn is one of my amazing interesting cheese board space fillers. And it’s a lighter alternative to fried buffalo wings smothered in ranch dressing. It’s mighty flavorful and pretty addictive. Am I saying you should only eat this and give up on the wings completely?! No!! That’s nonsense. Just maybe have them both…How’s that for wingin’ it?!
This recipe will take you all of 5 minutes to throw together. And when everyone asks you where on earth you got Buffalo Ranch Popcorn, you can tell them you made it! Plus, the Super Bowl is right around the corner, so let’s get this thing poppin’ !
Step 1: Buy your popcorn. Or you can make your own. But, the beauty of making this recipe is that it’s practically no work. My favorite brand of healthy pre-popped popcorn is Lesserevil!
Step 2: Melt ya butter. Melt your butter in a small sauce pan. Combine with your favorite buffalo sauce.
Step 3: Slowly drizzle and toss with popcorn. Sprinkle with your favorite dry ranch seasoning packet.
